Julie Charrison brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the world of real estate. With a strong academic background, she attended Michigan State University, Alverno College, and Marquette University, where she earned a Business degree with a minor in Communications, followed by an Executive MBA. This solid foundation in business principles has been instrumental in her success.
Julie’s career began in the corporate sector, where she worked as a Finance Manager for industry giants such as Frito Lay, Harley Davidson, and GE Healthcare. In these roles, she was responsible for finance, budgets, process improvement, and project management. Her analytical skills and strategic mindset have equipped her with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of real estate transactions.
Having traveled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Julie brings a global perspective to her work. Her experiences in these diverse cultures have influenced her passion for interior design, where she incorporates elements from her travels into her designs, creating spaces that resonate with beauty and functionality.
Julie’s personal journey has given her invaluable insight into the home-buying and selling process. Having made two international moves and numerous domestic relocations, she understands the challenges and emotions involved in finding the perfect home. Her firsthand experience makes her an empathetic advocate for her clients.
Before joining Choice Residential, Julie worked in Commercial Real Estate in Georgia, further enhancing her understanding of various property types and market dynamics. As a dedicated Realtor, she combines her financial expertise with her love for real estate, ensuring her clients receive the highest level of service and support.
Julie is also a devoted family woman, sharing her life with her best friend, Guy Charrison, and their three lovely and, only sometimes, challenging children. They are accompanied by three cute, but sassy dogs who keep life entertaining.

With over 40 years of experience in the property market, Guy Charrison is a true property professional. As a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors America’s (RICS), Fellow and Past President of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (PPNAVA), Fellow of The National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA), Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (FARLA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Guy has a wide knowledge of property and experience that he is delighted to share in the international and US property markets.
In the UK, he is a residential and commercial property consultant, developer, and auctioneer plus director of a National Property and Land Auction Firm called Network Auctions. In the US, Guy works with Choice Residential who has over 200 agents and multiple offices located in the Triangle.
Guy has had an exciting life in property. You might recognize him from the TV show Homes Under the Hammer, or perhaps you’ve seen him in action as a judge for the prestigious Negotiator Property Awards.
Guys passion for property is matched only by his love for his family. Guy and Julie and their 3 children, Piers, Will and Grace live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The entire family enjoys tennis and golf as a past time, and have a fun filled life with kids and dogs. Guy is also a Trustee of a Farming Charity for his family called the Bowyer Family Memorial Trust. Guy has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds and dollars for Charities, as a Fund-Raising Auctioneer in his personal time.
